Flash your LG Ku990i
The Flash will reset the Viewty to its original state.
All user datas are going to be lost and the phone settings reset to default.
You'll have to download those files : > Flash your Ku990i <
1) Start the Viewty in Emergency Download Mode :
Remove the battery from the phone then put it back.
Press and hold : Call Green Button + C Key + Unlock SideButton,
and finally EndCall Red Button.
The phone will turn on in Emergency Download mode
There you'll need the LGMDP software and the 10a firmware of the pack.
2) Flash the Ku990i in the v10a of the Ku990 :
Open the LGMDP software, press the Select Port button,
then connect your phone in USB and select your phone.
In the flash files window, browse folders from the first line
and find the folder of the Firmware V10a given in the pack.
The files are going to be automatically loaded, some will stay unactivated,
that's normal, it's an emergency download, so just reformating the phone.
Set the "Keep all contents" list to "Erase EFS".
Launch the flash by pressing "Start".
Let the process work and after a reboot, the screen will be yellow,
and will say "Refreshing ou Unavailable wallpaper".
Wait until LGMDP says "Download Complete".
3) Reset the NV2 :
The NV2 will allow you to use the phone part from the phone again.
Reconnect the phone, reselect it in LGMDP,
you're now in the Normal Mode.
Uncheck / Deactivate every line.
Now activate the NV2 line by browsing,
and selecting the NV2 file of the pack.
Let the list to "Keep all contents".
Launch the flash by pressing "Start".
4) Flash the Ku990i in the V10d for Ku990i :
Get back to LGMDP, again, reconnect the phone and select it in the software.
In the first line, select your V10d firmware of the pack.
All lines are going to be automatically filled.
Change the Module, Media and NV2 lines with
the correspondant files in the firmware V10a previous folder.
Select again the "Erase EFS" option.
Launch the flash by pressing "Start".
After the flash ("Download Complete"), exit LGMDP.
5) Updating the Ku990i system to the phone :
Open EFS, press the EFS Files Explorer Button, connect to your phone.
Right clic on the LGAPP folder, rename it to LGAPPa,
then right clic and refresh. Open the LGAPPa folder.
There will be some folders, two of them are named Modules and PXO.
Take those both folders of the Pack, drag and drop them into LGAPPa.
The transfert will be pretty long,
but it will be the final step.
When it's done, get back to the phone root,
rename LGAPPa to LGAPP, right clic, refresh.
(Remember this LGAPPa method, also known as TOTO method,
because you'll need to do it to install PXO Applications).
Press the "Disconnect" Button, accept to reboot the phone.
Close EFS, and save it somewhere,
EFS will be your beloved software now !
6) Reconfigure the phone :
There you go, your Viewty is fully Flashed and working !
Just have to put back all the parameters and settings,
then you're ready to use the phone,
and to install some cool themes !

ViewtyGate cannot be held responsible for any problem.
If the flash fails, try other USB connections.
Windows Vista has some troubles with Viewty Flashing,
try Windows XP or Windows Seven.
